Installation requirements, connections, clearances and technical drawings

Installation	External point-of-entry installation to the home's cold water supply.
Installer	Licensed plumber required. Installation must conform to AS/NZS 3500.1 and all applicable local plumbing codes.
Connections	1" connections. Connect to cold water only. Cold water only. Town water configuration uses a 20 mm inlet. Install before any internal cold water branch points. Dual check valve and 500 kPa pressure limiting valve are supplied. Upstream and downstream isolation valves are required, and installation of a bypass is strongly recommended.
Service Clearance	Allow sufficient access for cartridge replacement and servicing. Minimum 50 mm gap shown in the PWS installation configuration.

Install externally at the point of entry so filtered water is supplied to the home. The system must be installed in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.1 and applicable local plumbing requirements. A bypass configuration is recommended. Connect to cold water only.

Filtration Performance	Three-stage point-of-entry filtration combining high-capacity sediment filtration, radial-flow granular activated carbon filtration and a dedicated PFAS reduction stage. Stage 1 provides gradient-density sediment filtration to reduce particulate matter such as dirt, rust and sediment. Stage 2 uses radial-flow granular activated carbon (GAC) for chlorine taste and odour reduction while supporting high-flow point-of-entry applications. Stage 3 uses Pentair FloPlus Protect 20BB Fibredyne™ carbon block technology for certified reduction of specified PFAS compounds.
PFAS	The FloPlus Protect 20BB final filtration stage is certified for reduction of PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA and PFHpA. Pentair states reduction of these five PFAS compounds up to 99.82%. Refer to the applicable Pentair Performance Data Sheet for individual contaminant reduction claims and test conditions.

Performance and cartridge life vary according to incoming water quality, water usage, flow rate and cartridge condition. Individual contaminant reduction claims apply to the relevant filtration cartridge and specified test conditions.

Performance Testing: Individual filtration stages have manufacturer performance data and applicable third-party certification. System-level recommended operating parameters reflect the most restrictive applicable component specifications.

Performance may vary depending on incoming water quality, flow rate, usage and cartridge condition. Refer to applicable cartridge performance data for specific contaminant reduction claims and test conditions.
