The HTO Hi-Tech Optimiser is our original-generation triple-action water filter cartridge, designed to reduce up to 101 specified contaminants, including chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides.
Combining an electrostatic outer wrap, compressed activated carbon block and pharmaceutical-grade membrane, HTO delivers advanced submicron filtration for cleaner, better-tasting drinking water.
With published reduction results for specified contaminants and the ability to retain naturally occurring dissolved minerals, HTO continues to provide effective everyday drinking water filtration.

Our understanding of drinking water contaminants continues to evolve. Alongside established concerns such as chlorine, lead and pesticides, greater attention is now being given to contaminants including PFAS, arsenic, PCBs and microcystins.
While our original HTO cartridge remains effective for its tested contaminants, it does not carry the additional published reduction claims for these specified contaminants that are available with our enhanced HTO+ Hi-Tech Optimiser Plus.

HTO: Standard Hi-Tech Optimiser cartridge, reducing up to 101 contaminants with a rated capacity of 1,892 litres.
HTO+: Enhanced Hi-Tech Optimiser Plus cartridge, reducing up to 104 contaminants with additional tested reduction capabilities for specified PFAS compounds, PCBs, arsenic and microcystins. Rated capacity is 1,500 litres.
Important: Both cartridges require replacement after 12 months or when their respective litre capacity is reached, whichever comes first. Contaminant reduction percentages are specific to each cartridge and test conditions. Refer to the relevant performance documentation for details.

I'm very happy with the product. Customer service was helpful when I was stuck. My only problem was that I couldn't undo the old one so had to wait for somebody strong to help me. Had the tool and all. Once installed all is going well, the flow is perfect and it's good to know it's a new filter.
